Title -A Study on Right to Privacy in the Digital Age

Abstract

Nowadays, digital technologies form an integral part of everyone's routine life. In particular, people interact, shop, get educated, and entertain themselves via the internet. Despite the convenience, digital technologies have generated substantial worries related to the issues of privacy. Privacy and the protection of personal data are key challenges faced by the modern society. The current paper aims to explore the right to privacy and the way personal information is collected and used online.

Today, many users disclose sensitive data on social media without fully realizing what they do. The potential risks include data abuse, hacking, identity theft, and illegal surveillance, which may have severe consequences for the victims. The present paper will highlight the importance of privacy in the context of human rights and personal freedoms.

Furthermore, the issue of privacy will be analyzed from the legal perspective, and the necessity of creating appropriate legislation will be discussed. For example, the right to privacy was officially acknowledged as one of the fundamental rights in India.

In conclusion, it is possible to note that protecting privacy is extremely important nowadays. There is a need for stronger laws, better awareness among users, and more responsible behavior from companies. Only then can individuals feel safe and secure while using digital technologies.
